As you might already know, a Finnish company HMD has acquired the rights to sell Nokia branded smartphones. HMD was formed in May 2016 by previous Nokia employees. HMD is believed to be working on four devices a couple of which are slated to be announced in early 2017. Yesterday we saw a few renders of the alleged Nokia device codenamed D1C. The renders appeared on Chinese social networking site Weibo.
Today we have live photos of a neat looking rear panel of the alleged Nokia D1C. The live image very much looks like the previous render of the phone that we saw yesterday. The Nokia phone in question is said to be a midrange device with 4.8″ 1080p display powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 CPU. The GPU is rumored to be an Adreno 505. As for as the internal storage goes, the smartphone is said to have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. As for as the software is concerned, the Nokia D1C is going to launch with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
In the imaging department, the smartphone will carry a 13MP camera on the back while the front will have an 8MP camera for selfies and video chats. Considering the specs the phone seems to be a promising mid-ranger with a nice design. You can check out the previous renders below.
